This is a 3 year project to research and develop Carbon Capture Storage within basalt scoria deposits via induced mineralisation. Working with its University partner the research will use minerals obtained from Ascension Island and exported to the UK by Obsidian Minerals. If successful, the process will be patented and revenue will be achieved by licensing on a global basis for the offsetting of carbon footprints.
